The Roman’s Fountain

Year of construction -

Public water network- NO
Location - Manuel Fonseca street

In 1896 the town hall finished construction, so it is likely it was built then, however there is an inscription in the stone where the source enters saying “Rebuilt in 1813”.

The snow on the peaks make for poetry;
the fountains haunted by legends
weave in the rose of their foam,
from the Perales's to the Stone Cross,
whisper romantic psalmodies;
gasps in the Roman’s from the surprise
of the icy, ghostly kisses
of the snow and the stars.”
